How Majestic is Your Name in ALL the Earth!

Saturday night I went to bed praying that Sunday would be a clear day. God is so good. He blessed us with an amazingly clear day for our hike up the mountain...my mountain. I love it up there! It was so beautiful!

We enjoyed a nice hike up, a wonderful picnic lunch, a glorious nap in the sun, and just lots of fun hanging out both on the mountain and on the way back down.

Happy Birthday Marine!

This one goes out to all those Marines out there who are celebrating their 230th Birthday today!

Thank you for serving our country!

A special Birthday wish goes out to my Dad who served for 20 years, as well as my older brother who served for 6 years in the reserves, as well as in Iraq.

Also, to my younger brother who will soon be joining the ranks of the Few and Proud.

God Bless you! Semper Fi!

Jr. High Retreat.

This past weekend I enjoyed the priviledge of going with the Jr. High on their Spiritual Emphasis Weekend.

I was quite proud of my girls who took no more than 10 minutes to set up their tents, while the boys took at least an hour. Then, while the boys were all snug in their tents at night the majority of the girls were outside sleeping under the stars. Yea....Girls Rock!

We were blessed with an awesome speaker from the States who spoke about Faith/Trust, Brokenness, and our resposibility as believers towards those around us. After each session we broke up into small groups. I lead the 9th grade girls small group discussions...I love those kids!!

We had a short time of team building games as well as the trust fall in the afternoon which was a big hit even for the staff.

Sunday morning we awoke early (or for some, never went to sleep) to hike up a mountain. The view from the top was AMAZING!! Snow-capped mountains in the distance...need I say any more?

All in all it was a great weekend and I'm so glad I went....even if I did come back exhausted.

Enjoy the pictures.
